Ingredients

  • Chicken in bone - 1/2 kg
  • Boiled egg - 2
  • Frozen green peas - 100 g
  • Onion - 300 g
  • Ginger - 20 g
  • Garlic - 20 g
  • 1 tomato - chopped or puree
  • Handful- coriander leaves
  • Kashmiri chilli powder - 10 g
  • 2 pinches- garam masala powder
  • Turmeric powder - 10 g
  • Salt - 10 g
  • Mustard oil - 4 tbsp

How to Make Chicken Lotpot

  • Grind onion, ginger, garlic and coriander leaves to paste.
  • Heat frying pan and add mustard oil.
  • Add the ground paste and fry.
  • Add salt, turmeric powder and Kashmiri chilli powder to the paste.
  • Add chicken and mix it properly. Cook the chicken for some time. When the chicken is half cooked, add chopped tomato, green peas and chopped boiled egg. Cook for some time.
  • For gravy, add warm water. When the chicken is done add garam masala.
  • Serve chicken lotpot with bread.
