  • 1.5 cups - whipped Cream
  • 2-3 - fresh tomatoes, chopped
  • 1.5 cups - Tomato paste
  • 3 tsp - cooking oil
  • 3 - thinly sliced Onions
  • 2 - fresh Red Chillies
  • 2 packets - Chicken thighs/breasts/drumsticks
  • Salt to taste
  • 2-3 pods - garlic, chopped into thin pieces
  • How to Make Chicken Makhani:

    1. Heat the oil in a cooking pan on medium heat.
    2. When the oil is considerably hot, fry all the sliced onions until they golden brown.
    3. Add garlic and fry on low heat.
    4. Add red chillies and tomato paste and cook on low heat.
    5. Once a reddish-oily gravy starts forming, add chicken and salt and cook on medium heat until properly cooked.
    6. Slowly start adding the whipped cream until an orange gravy forms.
    7. After a while take it off the stove when the gravy thickens and the oil separates from the gravy.
    8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve with raita, roti or rice.
