How to Make Chicken Makhani

  • Heat the oil in a cooking pan on medium heat.
  • When the oil is considerably hot, fry all the sliced onions until they golden brown.
  • Add garlic and fry on low heat.
  • Add red chillies and tomato paste and cook on low heat.
  • Once a reddish-oily gravy starts forming, add chicken and salt and cook on medium heat until properly cooked.
  • Slowly start adding the whipped cream until an orange gravy forms.
  • After a while take it off the stove when the gravy thickens and the oil separates from the gravy.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve with raita, roti or rice.
