Ingredients

  • Chicken, cut into small pieces - 1 kg
  • Onion, finely sliced - 3
  • Garlic - 5-6 Cloves
  • Tomato, sliced - 3
  • Ginger, cut into small pieces - 2.5" piece
  • Chilli powder - 2 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 3.5 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Chicken masala powder - 2.5 tsp
  • Tomato sauce - 1 tsp
  • Green chilli - 3 to 4
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required
  • Curry leaves - a few
  • How to Make Chicken Masala Roast:

    1. Heat oil and fry the onions until slightly brown.
    2. Add the tomatoes, garlic, ginger, green chillies and curry leaves and saute.
    3. Add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, chicken masala and saute.
    4. Now add the chicken pieces, add salt and stir-fry.
    5. After 5 minutes, pour some water and stir.
    6. Before taking the dish off the flame, pour tomato sauce and stir.
    7. Serve the chicken roast with rice.
