Ingredients

  • Chicken, cut into small pieces - 1 kg
  • Onion, finely sliced - 3
  • Garlic - 5-6 Cloves
  • Tomato, sliced - 3
  • Ginger, cut into small pieces - 2.5" piece
  • Chilli powder - 2 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 3.5 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Chicken masala powder - 2.5 tsp
  • Tomato sauce - 1 tsp
  • Green chilli - 3 to 4
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required
  • Curry leaves - a few

How to Make Chicken Masala Roast

  • Heat oil and fry the onions until slightly brown.
  • Add the tomatoes, garlic, ginger, green chillies and curry leaves and saute.
  • Add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, chicken masala and saute.
  • Now add the chicken pieces, add salt and stir-fry.
  • After 5 minutes, pour some water and stir.
  • Before taking the dish off the flame, pour tomato sauce and stir.
  • Serve the chicken roast with rice.
