Ingredients

  • 1 kg - Chicken
  • 1 - large Onion
  • 1 - large Tomatoes
  • 2 - Green chillies
  • 1.5 tbsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 1.5 tsp - Cumin powder
  • 2 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • 1 cup - yogurt
  • 2 tbsp - Almond paste
  • 2 limes - juice
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Chicken Masala with tomatoes:

    1. Cut chicken in small pieces. Add lemon juice and salt and keep aside for 10 mins.
    2. In the meantime, fry onions, add ginger, garlic paste in a pressure cooker.
    3. Then add green chillies and fry till brown.
    4. Add tomatoes and fry.
    5. Mix together the coriander, cumin, chilli powder, turmeric powder and garam masala in water.
    6. Add chicken to the frying onions and keep on frying till brown.
    7. Add yogurt and almond powder to the masala and fry.
    8. Add salt to taste and 1 cup water. Cook for 6 mins.
    9. Serve.
