  • 1 pound boneless, skinless Chicken breasts, cut into nugget-size pieces
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tbsp - Milk
  • 3.5 cups - cornflakes, crushed
  • For Sauce:
  • 1 can (8-ounce) sliced or crushed Pineapple in juice
  • 1 tbsp - cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup - Pineapple Orange juice
  • 1/4 cup - barbecue sauce
  • How to Make Chicken Nuggets with Pineapple-Orange Sauce:

    1. Prepare dipping sauce:
    2. Pour undrained pineapple into the blender.
    3. Secure lid and process until it's a thick puree.
    4. Pour pineapple into the saucepan and add cornstarch; blend.
    5. Add pineapple orange juice and barbecue sauce; blend.
    6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, stirring until sauce thickens, about 3 minutes.
    7. Remove from heat and set aside.
    8. Prepare chicken nuggets:
    9. Preheat oven to 400 F.
    10. Whisk the egg and milk together in a small mixing bowl.
    11. Place cornflakes in a plastic bag.
    12. Dip chicken pieces in egg mixture, then shake with cornflakes to coat. Put coated chicken on a baking sheet.
    13. Carefully place baking pan in oven and bake for 15 minutes.
    14. Carefully remove the baking pan from the oven.
    15. Serve nuggets with warm pineapple-orange dipping sauce.
