Ingredients

  • 4 - eggs
  • 4 tbsp - shredded cooked Chicken
  • 2 tbsp - each of cooked and shredded Bamboo shoots
  • Water Chestnut and Mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp - sliced Onion
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • For the sauce:
  • 1 tsp - soya sauce
  • 1 tsp - Corn flour blended in 1/4 cup water
  • How to Make Chicken Omelette with Bamboo Shoots:

    1. Beat eggs nicely and mix in the rest of the above ingredients with the exception of sauce ingredients.
    2. Grease a heated pan nicely, pour in 3 tbsps. egg mixture and fry to a brown colour on both the sides.
    3. Put the omelettes in individual plates.
    4. Heat the sauce ingredients and cook till thick over a slow fire.
    5. Pour sauce over omelettes and serve at once.
