Clean chicken pieces and wash thoroughly. Drain the excess water.| Marinate the chicken pieces with a paste of red chilli powder, little salt, haldi, and ginger-garlic paste for 1 hour.
Put marinated chicken in steamer and steam for 30 minutes. Chicken should be well-cooked, leaving most of its oil in the steamer.
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, onions, and green chillies.
Fry onion till it turns brown.
Add ginger-garlic paste, dhania powder, bay leaves, cashew nuts, salt, chilli powder, chopped green chillies, red chillies, garam masala, cinnamon, black pepper and ginger pieces and fry till fragrant.
Add steamed chicken and fry for some time. Do not add any water.
Stir and cover the pan and cook for 15 minutes.
Remove the lid and garnish with coriander leaves and lemon juice and serve hot.
