Ingredients

  • 500 g - chicken breast pieces
  • 1 tsp - ginger garlic paste
  • All-purpose flour - 2 tbsp
  • Salt and pepper as per taste
  • Green chillies - 2
  • 1 - onion chopped
  • Spring onion
  • 1 tbsp - garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp - ginger minced
  • 3 tbsp - soya sauce
  • Chilli sauce as per taste
  • 1 tsp - tomato sauce
  • 2 tsp - sugar
  • Water

How to Make Chicken Teriyaki

  • Wash and clean the chicken breast
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add the ginger garlic paste and mix well. Dust the chicken breast pieces with all-purpose flour.
  • In a pan heat 2 tbsp of oil, add the chicken breasts and cook in medium flame till golden brown in colour and keep aside
  • Cut the pieces into strips
  • In the same pan add a tsp of oil, add the minced ginger, onions and garlic, saute till onions turn translucent.
  • Then add all the sauce and water, boil.
  • Now add the chicken strips and cook for 10 mins until the sauce thickens.
  • Add the sugar, wait till it melts and caramelize the chicken.
  • Adjust the salt and pepper, turn off the heat.
  • Serve.
