  • 1 - medium sized broiler
  • Handful of plain Cashew nuts (not salted or roasted)
  • 2 nos. - fresh Green chillies
  • Bunch of Coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp - red pepper powder
  • Pinch of - Turmeric
  • 1 cup - Yoghurt
  • 1/4 tsp - whole Cinnamon cardamom, black pepper
  • 1 tbsp - Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1 no - Onion
  • How to Make Chicken White:

    1. Marinate chicken pieces in yoghurt, salt, ginger garlic paste, overnight or for 6 hours.
    2. Grind the cashew nuts, coriander, cumin seeds, green chillies, cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper to a fine paste.
    3. Chop onion finely
    4. Fry onions in a tbsp oil to a golden brown.
    5. Add the marinated chicken, and keep frying till the juice is absorbed, for about 6 mins, constantly stirring.
    6. Add the ground paste and stir till it covers all the chicken.
    7. If required add a little extra red chilli powder.
    8. Add water, cook the chicken with a lid over the saucepan till chicken is tender. Serve with hot steamed rice and onion and tomato salad.
