Ingredients

  • Chicken - 250 gm, minced
  • Broken Wheat - 2 cup
  • Hard boiled eggs - 2, chopped
  • Ghee or oil - 4 tbsp
  • Onion - 1/2 cup, chopped
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Green chillies - 2 to 3, chopped
  • Tomato - 1/2 cup, chopped
  • Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp, chopped
  • Mint leaves - 2 tbsp, chopped
  • Fried Onion slices - 1/2 cup
  • Cloves - 2
  • Cinnamon - 2 pieces
  • Cardamom - 2
  • Water - 5 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Chicken with Broken Wheat:

    1. Heat ghee or oil and add cloves, cinnamon and cardamom.
    2. Add onion and fry till light brown.
    3. Add ginger garlic paste. Fry till fragrant.
    4. Add green chillies and tomato.
    5. Fry till tomato is soft.
    6. Add chicken mince and broken wheat.
    7. Add water and salt and simmer till the dalia and chicken are cooked.
    8. Serve garnished with coriander, mint, eggs and fried onion.
