  • 500 g - Chicken breast, chopped into medium size pieces
  • 1.25 cups - crushed Wheat
  • 1 cup - water
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • 2 tbsp - chopped Coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp - fresh mint, chopped
  • 2 tsp - grated fresh Ginger
  • 1 Clove - garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1.5 tbsp - white Vinegar
  • How to Make Chicken with Crushed Wheat:

    1. Bring water to a boil in a pan and add the crushed wheat and butter.
    2. Stir, cover for 1 minute and remove from heat.
    3. Keep it covered and let it stand for 6-8 minutes or until water is absorbed.
    4. Add the chopped coriander and stir. Keep aside.
    5. Heat the oil in a wok.
    6. Stir fry the chicken in batches until tender. Keep aside.
    7. Return all the stir fried chicken back into the wok.
    8. Add mint leaves, ginger, garlic, red chillies and vinegar.
    9. Stir and cook until mixture boils and thickens.
    10. Stir in the cooked crushed wheat just before serving. Serve hot.
