  • 1 kg - chicken with bones
  • 2 - large onions
  • 1 tbsp- black pepper powder
  • 2 tbsp- ginger garlic paste
  • 1 small cup - fresh mint leaves
  • Coriander leaves
  • 1 cup - curd
  • 2 tbsp- mustard oil
  • 2 tbsp- vegetable oil
  • 2 pieces - each of green and black cardamoms, cinnamons
  • 1 tsp- garam masala powder
  • 1/2 tsp- turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Chicken with Mint Sauce

  • Marinate the washed, dried chicken with curd, salt, ginger-garlic paste, mustard oil, garam masala powder, and black pepper powder for 2 hours.
  • Heat some vegetable oil in a kadai. Add pieces of cloves, cinnamons and cardamoms.
  • Saute the onions with them.
  • Add freshly washed and chopped mint leaves and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add the marinated chicken pieces and the coriander leaves.
  • Add salt if necessary.
  • Add water to it and cover cook till the sauce is dense and chicken pieces are tender.
