  • 1 kg - Chicken with bones
  • 2 - large Onions
  • 1 tbsp- black pepper powder
  • 2 tbsp- Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1 small cup - fresh Mint leaves
  • Coriander leaves
  • 1 cup - Curd
  • 2 tbsp- Mustard oil
  • 2 tbsp- vegetable oil
  • 2 pieces - each of green and black cardamoms, Cinnamons
  • 1 tsp- Garam Masala powder
  • 1/2 tsp- Turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Chicken with Mint Sauce:

    1. Marinate the washed, dried chicken with curd, salt, ginger-garlic paste, mustard oil, garam masala powder, and black pepper powder for 2 hours.
    2. Heat some vegetable oil in a kadai. Add pieces of cloves, cinnamons and cardamoms.
    3. Saute the onions with them.
    4. Add freshly washed and chopped mint leaves and cook for 5 minutes.
    5. Add the marinated chicken pieces and the coriander leaves.
    6. Add salt if necessary.
    7. Add water to it and cover cook till the sauce is dense and chicken pieces are tender.
