Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 2 tsp - chopped Garlic
  • 2 - onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp - chopped Ginger
  • 1 tsp - garam masala/spice powder
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1 - large tomato, chopped
  • 1 cup - Chickpeas (Kabuli channa) soaked overnight and boiled
  • 1 tbsp - chopped Coriander leaves
  • salt to taste

How to Make Chickpeas In Tomato Gravy

  • Heat oil in a pan and add the garlic, onion and ginger. Saute until brown.
  • Stir in the garam masala, chilli powder, coriander powder, tomato, salt and chickpeas.
  • Simmer on low heat until the gravy thickens.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
