  • 12- ripe chikus
  • 1 cup - Sugar
  • 1/2 cup - water
  • 200 g - mava, sieved
  • 4 tbsp - ghee, melted
  • a few melon seeds and Almond slivers
  • How to Make Chiku Halwa:

    1. Peel, core and mash the chikus gently.
    2. Dissolve the sugar in water and make a thick syrup.
    3. Add the chiku puree, mava and ghee into the syrup and fry lightly. Do not use too much heat or over-stir.
    4. Pour into a dish and sprinkle with nuts. Allow it to cool.
