Ingredients

  • 1 liter - whole milk, chilled
  • 1/2 cup - Sugar
  • 2 Bananas
  • 1 apple, peeled
  • 2 ripe mangoes
  • 1/4 cup - cleaned green Grapes
  • 1/4 cup - cleaned black Grapes
  • 1/4 pomegranate, cleaned
  • 2 slices ripe Papaya
  • 2 slices canned Pineapple
  • 10 canned Cherries
  • 1 Chikoo
  • 1 Orange very sweet
  • 1 sweet Lime very sweet
  • Crush together:
  • 2 Almonds
  • 2 Pistachios
  • 1 peeled Cardamom
  • 8-10 threads Saffron
  • How to Make Chilled Fruit Bowl:

    1. Make sure milk is well chilled.
    2. Add sugar and crushed almonds, etc.
    3. Stir till sugar is dissolved.
    4. Drop fruits one by one into milk.
    5. Stir in between, to mix in the fruit.
    6. Bananas, apple, mango, chicoo, papaya must be peeled and chopped
    7. Grapes may be halved if too big.
    8. Chop pineapple slices, drain any syrup oozed, before adding.
    9. Drain and add cherries. Wash if required.
    10. Orange and sweet lime segments must be peeled, deseeded and halved.
    11. Chill for at least 3-4 hours before serving to blend all the flavours.
    12. Serve chilled in individual bowls.
