  • 1 kg - Chicken pieces
  • 2 tsp -soy sauce
  • 2 tsp-vinegar
  • 1 clove-garlic, minced
  • 8-10 - green chillies, split down the middle (but still joined)
  • 1/3 cup- oil
  • How to Make Chilli Chicken with Soy Sauce & Vinegar:

    1. First cut the chicken pieces into smaller pieces (drumsticks in half, thighs in half, and leave wings as they are).
    2. Then marinate the chicken pieces with the soy sauce and vinegar.
    3. Make sure all the chicken pieces are covered.
    4. Add the chillies. Cover and put in fridge for 10 minutes.
    5. Heat oil in a frying pan. Slowly add chicken pieces (shake off marinade first).
    6. Cover the pan and cook. Occasionally, turn the pieces so they brown well.
    7. After all the pieces are done, take them out.
    8. Put in the garlic and fry until golden brown.
    9. Add the chicken pieces. Then add the soy sauce and vinegar marinade mixture.
    10. Stir and cover; let it cook for about 20 minutes or until the sauce begins to thicken.
    11. Then take off heat and serve over white rice.
