Ingredients

  • 2 cups - moong dal (green gram), washed and soaked for 5-6 hours
  • Salt as per taste
  • 7 - Green chillies 1/2 tsp - Ginger paste 1/2 tsp - Garlic paste
  • Oil for frying

How to Make Chilli-Garlic Moong Dal Vada

  • Grind the dal into paste along with green chillies.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste, salt and mix well.
  • Heat oil for deep frying.
  • Drop bite-sized pakoras into hot oil.
  • Deep Fried on medium till golden brown
  • Serve hot with tomato sauce or tamarind chutney.
