Chilli garlic noodles is a well-known Asian recipe that everyone throughout Asia and the world is familiar with. This recipe is native to China and is loved by Chinese food lovers for its tangy and spicy flavors.

The special sauces do the magic to create this delicious noodles recipe. Chilli and garlic are the two major ingredients apart from other veggies and the recipe can be made at home by following our recipe guide.

It involves simple sautéing technique and a combination of vinegar and soy sauce to enhance its taste. It is served as a main course with can be best enjoyed with gravy manchurian.


  • 1 packet- noodles
  • 10- French beans
  • 2 tbsp- soya sauce
  • 1/2 tsp - Vinegar
  • 1 cup - sliced Carrots
  • 1 cup - Spring onions
  • 1 cup - Cabbage
  • 2 - Red Chillies
  • 2 - Green chillies
  • 4 Cloves - garlic, ground to paste
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • Oil - 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Chilli Garlic Noodles:

    1. Cook the noodles in boiling water with a tsp of oil. Add cold water to the cooked noodles and drain it. Separate the noodles by applying oil in fingers and keep aside.
    2. Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan.
    3. When oil starts to fume, add ground chilli garlic paste.
    4. Once the chilli garlic paste is fried, add chopped spring onion, carrot, cabbage and French beans.
    5. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and stir fry at high heat for about 4 mins.
    6. Now add soya sauce, vinegar, chilli powder, salt and cooked noodles.
    7. Stir fry for 2-3 mins and serve hot.
