Ingredients

  • 500 g - Chicken breast
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli paste
  • 1 cup - chopped green Onions
  • 1 - capsicum, diced
  • 2 tbsp - Honey
  • 6 tbsp - Tomato ketchup
  • 1 tbsp - soy sauce
  • 1 cube - Chicken stock
  • For the marinade:
  • 2- eggs
  • 2 tbsp - Corn flour
  • 1 pinch - soda bicarbonate
  • 1/2 tsp - white pepper powder
  • 1 tsp - salt

How to Make Chilli Honey Chicken

  • Mix the ingredients for the marinade and marinate the chicken breasts for 2 hours.
  • Remove each chicken piece and coat with dry corn flour and deep fry till golden brown.
  • Cut the chicken into 1/2 inch strips (keep warm).
  • In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup water, chicken stock, honey, tomato ketchup, soy sauce and 1 tbsp corn flour.
  • In a separate pan, heat 1 tbsp oil and stir fry the red chilli paste for 15 seconds.
  • Now add onions and capsicum.
  • Stir fry for 30 seconds.
  • Add honey mixture and cook till it thickens.
  • Place the fried chicken on a serving plate.
  • Pour the hot sauce over it and serve.
