Ingredients

  • 200 g - button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup - capsicum, finely chopped
  • 1 cup - spring onion, chopped
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • 2 tsp - minced Garlic
  • 2 tsp - minced Ginger
  • 2 green chilies, minced
  • 1 tsp - Sugar
  • 2 tsp - dark soya sauce
  • 2 tbsp - Tomato ketchup
  • 2 tsp - Vinegar
  • few drops tabasco sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp - MSG, optional

How to Make Chilli Mushroom Fry

  • Combine garlic, ginger and green chilies with oil in a deep microwave proof glass dish. Cook on full power for 2 minutes.
  • Add capsicums and cook on full power for 3 minutes, stirring once half way through.
  • Add mushrooms, salt and pepper. Cook on full power for 3-4minutes, stirring twice in between.
  • Add spring onion and cook for 2 more minutes.
  • Add rest of the ingredients and cook for 2 more minutes.
  • Serve hot with steamed rice, fried rice or noodles.
