Ingredients

  • 250 gms - paneer (cubed)
  • 1/4 cup - capsicum /bell pepper (green, orange, red, yellow) - of each color, diced
  • 1/2 - onion, diced
  • 4 tsp - tomato ketchup
  • 3 tsp - barbeque sauce
  • 3 tsp - soya sauce
  • 1/2 tsp - hot/chilli sauce
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • Salt - to taste
  • 1.5 tsp - chilli powder
  • Coriander leaves - a few sprigs for garnishing
  • 1 tsp - lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 5 - green chilli (make a small slit on the top with knife)
  • 2 tsp - grated paneer, for garnishing

How to Make Chilli Saucy Paneer

  • Add 1 tbsp of oil in a kadai, when it is hot add cumin seeds, wait for few seconds and then add onion and saute for 2 minutes on a medium flame.
  • Then add green chilli, capsicum and saute for 4 minutes. Now add barbeque sauce, tomato ketchup, hot sauce and soya sauce. Mix it well.
  • Add some chilli powder if you like it spicy.
  • Saute for another 3 minutes until the sauce blends well with the vegetables.
  • Now add salt and then paneer.
  • Saute for 2-3 minutes and remove it from flame.
  • Garnish it with coriander leaves, grated paneer and squeeze some lime juice (around 1 tsp) before serving. Serve it hot.
