  • 8 - Chicken wings, cleaned and patted dry
  • 2 tbsp - Sesame seed oil
  • 1 tbsp - dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp - Honey
  • 1.5 tsp - Chinese five spices powder
  • 1.5 tsp - ground Ginger
  • salt and pepper

How to Make Chinese Honeyed Chicken Wings

  • Blend the sauce ingredients in a fairly large dish.
  • Marinate the wings in the mixture for one hour, ensuring they are completely covered with the marinade.
  • Switch on the oven grill and arrange the wings on the rack of an oven pan.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Grill for about 5-8 minutes on each side until tender, and done, brushing occasionally with the marinade.
  • Serve hot with a sweet achaar.
