Ingredients

  • 2 large white - Onions
  • 3 - fresh red hot chillies
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 1.5 tsp - white Vinegar
  • 1.5 tsp - brown Vinegar
  • 3-4 - pinches pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Sugar
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Chinese Hot and Sour Onions:

    1. Peel and halve the onions, chop into eight chunks.
    2. Slice chillies thinly and diagonally.
    3. Heat oil, add chillies and onions and stir fry for 3-4 minutes.
    4. Add all other ingredients, saute for further 2 minutes.
    5. Serve hot, with rice or bread.
