Ingredients

  • 2 slices bread, sides trimmed
  • 1/2 cup - sesame seeds
  • oil for deep frying
  • Grind together to smooth mixture:
  • 1 - onion, chopped finely
  • 1 - Egg white, beaten
  • 2 cups - Prawn Meat
  • 2 tbsp - chopped Coriander leaves
  • 1/4 tsp - Garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp - chopped Bamboo shoots
  • 2 tbsp - water
  • pepper to taste
  • How to Make Chinese Prawn Toast:

    1. Slice the breads into 4 triangles.
    2. Spread mixture evenly on the bread.
    3. Put the sesame seeds on a flat plate.
    4. Dip the coated side of the bread into the sesame seeds.
    5. Press a little, so the slice is completely coated with sesame seeds.
    6. Heat oil. Deep fry till light golden, from both sides.
    7. Remove and drain.
    8. Serve hot.
