Ingredients

  • 20 - jumbo Prawns
  • 1/4 cup - plain flour (maida)
  • 1/4 cup - Corn flour
  • 1 pinch - baking powder
  • 1 tsp - soya sauce
  • 1 pinch - ajinomoto
  • 1 tsp - pepper powder
  • salt to taste
  • oil for deep frying

How to Make Chinese Prawns Fry

  • Clean and slit the prawns. Add soya sauce and salt to the cleaned prawns and marinate for 1 hour.
  • Then half cook the marinated prawns along with the mixture.
  • Make a thick batter of maida, corn flour, pepper powder, aginomoto and salt.
  • Heat oil in a non-stick kadai, then dip the cooked prawn in the batter one by one.
  • Deep fry it till golden brown.
