  • For the cake: 100 g - all purpose flour (maida)
  • 120 g - finely ground sugar
  • 90 g - saltless butter
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1/4 tbsp - baking powder
  • 20 g - cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp - milk
  • For the chocolate icing: 1/4 cup - condensed milk
  • 25 g - cocoa powder
  • 40 g - butter (saltless)

How to Make Chocolate Brownie Cake

  • For cake: Sieve the maida with baking powder and cocoa powder thrice.
  • Cream the butter and sugar till light and fluffy with the help of a beater.
  • Beat the eggs. Add to the creamed mixture of butter and sugar, gradually beating all the time.
  • Add the creamed mixture to the sieved flour mixture.
  • Add 2 tbsp of milk and beat it for 5-6 minutes with a machine beater. Pour it into a greased baking tray.
  • Preheat an oven at 350 degrees F. Bake the cake for 25-30 minutes.
  • Allow the cake to cool for a few minutes and start preparing the icing.
  • For the icing : Melt butter in a pan. Add cocoa powder and stir well for a minute.
  • Remove from the heat and add condensed milk. Mix well and apply the icing immediately over the cake.
  • Allow the icing to settle for a few minutes until it becomes thick.
