  • 1 - chocolate cake
  • 2-4 tbsp - melted Butter
  • 1 bar - dark cooking chocolate
  • 1 bar - white chocolate
  • How to Make Chocolate Cake Balls:

    1. Crumble the cake into a large mixing bowl.
    2. Add 2 tbsp of melted butter and mix well with a ladle. The mixture should be moist enough to roll into 1.5-inch balls and still hold a round shape.
    3. Add some more melted butter if the cake crumbs are dry and difficult to make balls with.
    4. Place the cake balls on wax paper. Cover with a plastic wrap and freeze for 2 hours.
    5. Break the dark chocolate into small chunks and melt it in a double boiler.
    6. Allow the melted chocolate to come to room temperature.
    7. Take the cake balls out of the fridge and dip in the melted chocolate until it is well coated on all sides.
    8. Place the balls on a tray until the chocolate sets.
    9. Melt white chocolate and spoon it into a piping bag. Draw lines or any pattern on the cake balls for decoration. Allow to set well.
    10. Store in an air tight container.
