  • 1/2 tin - condensed Milk
  • 1/2 cup - Milk
  • 1 tsp - vanilla essence
  • 1 tsp - baking powder
  • 1/2 cup (75 gm) - oil
  • 4 tbsp - powdered Sugar
  • 100 g (1 cup) - Maida
  • 1/4 cup - cocoa powder
  • 8-9 - Walnuts (crushed)

How to Make Chocolate Cake with vanilla icecream

  • Preheat an oven to 200 degrees C.
  • Sift maida, cocoa powder, soda and baking powder. Keep aside.
  • Beat the sugar and condensed milk until fluffy. Add oil and beat well.
  • Add milk and vanilla essence. Add the maida mixture.
  • Beat well for 3-4 minutes until the mixture is smooth and light. Now add the crushed walnuts.
  • Grease a 8-9 inch baking tin.
  • Pour the batter into the preheated baking tin and sprinkle some chocolate chips.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
  • Let it cool. Transfer to a serving platter and relish with vanilla ice-cream.
