  • 1/2 tin - condensed Milk
  • 1/2 cup - Milk
  • 1 tsp - vanilla essence
  • 1 tsp - baking powder
  • 1/2 cup (75 gm) - oil
  • 4 tbsp - powdered Sugar
  • 100 g (1 cup) - Maida
  • 1/4 cup - cocoa powder
  • 8-9 - Walnuts (crushed)
  • How to Make Chocolate Cake with vanilla icecream:

    1. Preheat an oven to 200 degrees C.
    2. Sift maida, cocoa powder, soda and baking powder. Keep aside.
    3. Beat the sugar and condensed milk until fluffy. Add oil and beat well.
    4. Add milk and vanilla essence. Add the maida mixture.
    5. Beat well for 3-4 minutes until the mixture is smooth and light. Now add the crushed walnuts.
    6. Grease a 8-9 inch baking tin.
    7. Pour the batter into the preheated baking tin and sprinkle some chocolate chips.
    8. Bake for 30 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
    9. Let it cool. Transfer to a serving platter and relish with vanilla ice-cream.
