Ingredients

  • 1 cup - semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup - coarsely chopped Walnuts
  • 3/4 cup - packed light Brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup - all-purpose flour (maida)
  • 1/2 tsp - baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp - ground Cinnamon
  • 2 - eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 (9 inch) - pie shell, baked
  • 1/2 cup - heavy cream, chilled
  • 1 tbsp - confectioners' Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp - vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp - ground Cinnamon
  • 1 pinch - ground Nutmeg
  • How to Make Chocolate Chip Walnut Pie:

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a bowl, stir together brown sugar, flour, baking powder, and 1/4 tsp cinnamon.
    2. Add eggs, stir until blended.
    3. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.
    4. Pour into baked pie crust.
    5. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 25 to 30 minutes until lightly browned and set.
    6. Serve slightly warm or at room temperature with spiced cream.
    7. For Spiced Cream:
    8. Mix together whipping cream, confectioners' sugar, vanilla, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, and nutmeg.
