Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups - All-purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp - Baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp - Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp - Ground Nutmeg
  • 3/4 cup - Brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup - Milk (boiled and cooled)
  • 1/2 cup - Orange juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1/4 cup - Ghee
  • 1/2 tsp - Vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp - Lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup - Raisin
  • 1/2 cup - Carrot (grated)
  • 1/2 tsp - Salt
  • How to Make Chocolate Eggless Carrot Cake:

    1. Pre-heat oven at 350 Fahrenheit.
    2. Grease 8 inch pan.
    3. Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl.
    4. Combine ghee, vanilla extract, lemon juice, orange juice and milk in another bowl. Stir well to blend all the ingredients.
    5. Now, add this to the flour mixture. Blend until smooth. Stir in raisin and grated carrot.
    6. Pour the batter in to greased pan and bake for 30 minutes or till wooden pick inserted in centre comes out clean.
