Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups - All-purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp - Baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp - Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp - Ground nutmeg
  • 3/4 cup - Brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup - Milk (boiled and cooled)
  • 1/2 cup - Orange juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1/4 cup - Ghee
  • 1/2 tsp - Vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp - Lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup - Raisin
  • 1/2 cup - Carrot (grated)
  • 1/2 tsp - Salt

How to Make Chocolate Eggless Carrot Cake

  • Pre-heat oven at 350 Fahrenheit.
  • Grease 8 inch pan.
  • Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • Combine ghee, vanilla extract, lemon juice, orange juice and milk in another bowl. Stir well to blend all the ingredients.
  • Now, add this to the flour mixture. Blend until smooth. Stir in raisin and grated carrot.
  • Pour the batter in to greased pan and bake for 30 minutes or till wooden pick inserted in centre comes out clean.
