  • 2 Egg whites
  • 100g - either ground Almonds or Cashew nuts
  • 100g - castor Sugar
  • 3 tbsp - drinking chocolate
  • blanched Almonds
  • How to Make Chocolate macaroons with almonds:

    1. Whip the eggs until stiff peaks form. Fold in the ground nuts, sugar, and drinking chocolate.
    2. Spoon in small heaps in baking sheets lined with greased brown paper.
    3. Put a blanched almond on top of each macaroon and bake in a moderate oven for about 20 minutes.
