  • 2 egg whites
  • 100g - either ground almonds or cashew nuts
  • 100g - castor sugar
  • 3 tbsp - drinking chocolate
  • blanched almonds

How to Make Chocolate macaroons with almonds

  • Whip the eggs until stiff peaks form. Fold in the ground nuts, sugar, and drinking chocolate.
  • Spoon in small heaps in baking sheets lined with greased brown paper.
  • Put a blanched almond on top of each macaroon and bake in a moderate oven for about 20 minutes.
