  • 1 tsp - baking powder
  • 80 g - cocoa powder
  • 100 ml - cooking oil
  • 8 - eggs
  • 1 tsp - vanilla essence
  • 800 g - maida flour (refined)
  • 300 g - butter
  • 1/2 tsp - soda bi-carbonate
  • 400 g - sugar, browned

How to Make Chocolate vanilla Cake

  • Grease the cake tin with oil and dust with flour.
  • Sieve in the flour, cocoa and baking powder.
  • Cream the butter, oil and soda bicarb.
  • Blend and add the sugar and whisk until light and fluffy.
  • Add 2 eggs at a time, whisking well after each addition.
  • Add the flour, then the vanilla essence and beat well.
  • Pour onto the prepared tin.
  • Bake in a preheated oven until done.
  • When the cake cools, wrap in the pan with foil. Sandwich the cake with cocoa butter cream.
