Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup - chick peas
  • 1 tbsp - onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp - tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tbsp - cucumber, chopped
  • Few springs - coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1 - Green chilli chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - thick Tamarind paste or Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp - Dates syrup or Honey
  • 1/8 tsp - dry Ginger powder
  • 1/2 tsp - aamchoor powder
  • Chaat masala as desired
  • Pepper powder - as desired
  • Khara boondi or sev
  • How to Make Chole chaat:

    1. Wash and soak chickpeas in water for at least 12 to 18 hours, replace water every 6 hours
    2. Pressure cook chickpeas till soft.
    3. Add all the ingredients except boondi. Toss well.
    4. Serve with boondi or sev (mixture) topped on it.
