Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup - chopped almonds
  • 1 oz - popping corn
  • 1/4 cup - raisins
  • 1/4 cup - candied cherries
  • 2 tbsp - butter
  • 4 tbsp - light corn syrup
  • 4 tbsp - brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp - cinnamon powder

How to Make Christmas Tree Popcorn Clusters

  • Pop the corn as per directions in the packet and set aside.
  • In a saucepan mix butter, sugar, corn syrup along with cinnamon on low heat and keep whisking until the sugar blends well. Remove from heat.
  • Add the popcorn, nuts, cherries and raisins.
  • Stir well until blended and set aside for 1-2 min until cooled enough to handle with fingers. But don't let it cool completely.
  • Add a little melted butter in your hands so that the corn does not stick to your hands and then shape them into small balls.
  • Let it cool and then wrap them in cellophane with decorative threads and hang them either on your Christmas tree or give as gifts.
