Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - chicken, chopped
  • 1 cup - onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup - dry coconut
  • 1 tbsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tsp - garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp - turmeric
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • Fresh coriander to garnish
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 1 tbsp - cashew nuts

How to Make Chutke chicken

  • Grind onion and coconut to make a paste.
  • Heat oil in a small cooker, add cashews and fry.
  • Add onion-coconut paste; fry and add washed chicken pieces, ginger-garlic paste, salt, turmeric, and chilli powder.
  • Fry for 5 minutes and cook covered.
  • Then cover and cook up to 3 whistles on medium flame.
  • Remove the lid after 10 minutes, add garam masala, and fresh coriander and mix well.
  • Chutke chicken is ready to serve.
