Ingredients

  • 500g- unsalted butter
  • 500g -sugar
  • 650g- sieved flour
  • 1 tsp -baking powder
  • 10 -eggs
  • juice from 6 oranges
  • zest of 3 oranges

How to Make Cinderella Cake

  • Preheat oven at 170 C. Grease and lightly flour a baking mould. Sift all dry ingredients and keep aside.
  • Cream butter and sugar well.
  • Add the eggs one by one, beating well after each addition.
  • Gradually add flour and beat the mixture.
  • Add the juice and zest, and beat it well.
  • Pour it into a greased pan and bake it for 45 minutes. Serve when cake is well-cooled.
