Ingredients

  • 1.5 cup - all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 tsp - instant yeast
  • 1/2 cup - warm water
  • 1/4 tsp - salt
  • 2 tbsp - brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp - cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 tsp - vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup - curd
  • 1/2 cup - milk
  • For Topping:
  • 1/4 cup - warm water
  • 1 tbsp - baking soda
  • 1 tsp - brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp - butter melted
  • 1 tsp - vanilla essence

How to Make Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel

  • Preheat oven to 180 degree celsius.
  • Grease and dust an 8 inch round pan.
  • Blend sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  • Add curd, milk, oil and vanilla essence to the flour mixture and beat until well incorporated.
  • Add the boiling water and beat till mixed well
  • The batter will be thin.
  • Pour it into the greased and dusted cake pan.
  • Bake for 30 minutes.
  • For frosting:
  • Melt butter.
  • Sift the cocoa powder into the butter and mix well.
  • Add sifted icing sugar and milk alternately and beat to combine.
  • Add the vanilla essence and mix well.
  • Frost the cake with this and chocolate shavings.
