Ingredients

  • 1.5 cup - all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 tsp - instant Yeast
  • 1/2 cup - warm water
  • 1/4 tsp - salt
  • 2 tbsp - Brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp - Cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 tsp - vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup - Curd
  • 1/2 cup - Milk
  • For Topping:
  • 1/4 cup - warm water
  • 1 tbsp - baking soda
  • 1 tsp - Brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp - Butter melted
  • 1 tsp - vanilla essence
  • How to Make Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel:

    1. Preheat oven to 180 degree celsius.
    2. Grease and dust an 8 inch round pan.
    3. Blend sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
    4. Add curd, milk, oil and vanilla essence to the flour mixture and beat until well incorporated.
    5. Add the boiling water and beat till mixed well
    6. The batter will be thin.
    7. Pour it into the greased and dusted cake pan.
    8. Bake for 30 minutes.
    9. For frosting:
    10. Melt butter.
    11. Sift the cocoa powder into the butter and mix well.
    12. Add sifted icing sugar and milk alternately and beat to combine.
    13. Add the vanilla essence and mix well.
    14. Frost the cake with this and chocolate shavings.
