Ingredients

  • 1 cup - plain flour
  • 1 tbsp - Corn flour
  • 1 tbsp - Rice flour
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • Ground ginger, garlic, and chillies for taste

How to Make Coating batter for Fritters

  • Mix all the ingredients.
  • Add enough water to make a batter that will coat the back of a spoon thinly when dipped.
  • Dip chunks of cauliflower, baby corn, etc., but it should first be boiled to be tender, but not mushy.
  • Chill the boiled veggies before frying.
  • One may even fry thick rings of onion, capsicums, etc.
