Ingredients

  • 1.75 cups - Maida
  • 1/2 tsp - soda bicarbonate
  • 1/4 tsp - salt
  • 3 tbsp - cocoa
  • 1.25 cups - Sugar
  • 1 cup - Milk
  • 125 g - Butter
  • 2 - eggs, beaten
  • How to Make Cocoa cake:

    1. Sift the dry ingredients, except sugar, into a bowl.
    2. Add sugar and milk.
    3. Melt butter in a microwave for 45 seconds to 1 minute and add to the ingredients. Beat the mixture with a wooden spoon until the ingredients have combined well.
    4. Add the beaten eggs and beat again until smooth.
    5. Divide the mixture into two greased 18-cm round microwave containers for 6 minutes on medium and for a minute on high.
    6. Allow the cake to cool. Cut and serve.
