Ingredients

  • 1 cup - fresh grated Coconut
  • 1/2 cup - powdered Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp - Cardamom powder
  • 1 to 2 tbsp - mixed dry fruits (raisin, cashew, almond)
  • 1 to 2 tsp - ghee/butter
  • 1 to 2 tsp - Milk powder
  • How to Make Coconut Burfi with Dry Fruits:

    1. Mix coconut and sugar and leave aside for half an hour. The coconut would start to leave some water.
    2. Heat a kadai and pour the mixture into it.
    3. Saute on low flame until the mixture blends well.
    4. Add the remaining ingredients, except ghee and mix well.
    5. Grease a plate with ghee and pour the hot mixture into it.
    6. Spread evenly on the plate and let it cool for a while.
    7. Cut into desired shape when still warm, else you would'nt be able to cut into pieces properly.
    8. Garnish with dry fruits and elaichi powder.
    9. Cool and store in air tight containers.
