  • 500 g - Maida
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 - fresh Coconut
  • How to Make Coconut Crispies:

    1. Grate fresh coconut; sieve maida and keep aside
    2. Mix coconut, chilli powder, salt and maida together, then add grated coconut, mix well and keep aside for an hour.
    3. Knead to make dough, adding very little water, if necessary.
    4. It should be as stiff as poori dough.
    5. Heat oil in a kadai, lower the flame. Make small balls of the dough and pat them flat as puris.
    6. Deep fry till golden brown in colour. Store in an air tight container.
