Ingredients

  • 100 g - (1 cup) - grated Coconut
  • 3/4 tsp - Red Chilli powder or 3 Dried red chillies
  • 4 Shallots / chuvannulli / small onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp - chopped Coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tsp - thick Tamarind paste
  • 1/2 tsp - salt (or to taste)
  • 1 tbsp - water
  • How to Make Coconut Onion Chutney:

    1. Make a smooth and thick paste of the ingredients in a mixer. Sprinkle 1 tbsp water when making chammanthi. Serve with Kanji or Dosa.
