  • 1 cup - (100 g) grated Coconut
  • 3 Dried red chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - Tamarind paste
  • 1 onion, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 - inch piece Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 2 tbsp -water
  • How to Make Coconut Onion Tamarind Chutney:

    1. Soak dried red chillies in 3 tbsps water for half an hour.
    2. Transfer all the chutney ingredients (including soaked red chillies) in a mixer bowl and make a smooth paste.
    3. Serve with idli / dosa varieties.
