Ingredients

  • For dough:
  • Wheat flour - 6 cup
  • Water as needed
  • Salt
  • For filling:
  • Grated Coconut - 1 cup
  • Gram flour - 1/2 cup
  • Curry leaves - a few sprigs
  • 3- green chillies, finely cut
  • Mustard-1 tsp
  • Oil
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp

How to Make Coconut Poori

  • Knead the flour into a soft dough
  • For the filling:
  • Splutter mustard and add , gram flour, coconut and curry leaves and fry till golden brown.
  • Divide into 18-20 parts, and roll into lemon sized balls and gently flatten it to a patty.
  • Fill it with 1 tsp of the coconut mixture and again roll into small balls.
  • Flatten the stuffed balls softly.
  • Fry until it puffs up and turns golden brown
  • Serve hot
