Ingredients

  • 250 g - medium prawn
  • 1/2 - coconut
  • 2 tbsp - mustard seeds
  • 8 - green chillies
  • 2 tbsp - mustard oil
  • Salt

How to Make Cocoprawn cake

  • Wash and devein the prawns, then grind them. Grind the coconut, too.
  • Mix the ground coconut and prawns well until you get a paste.
  • Make a paste of the mustard seeds and chillies.
  • Now mix the prawn paste and the chilli paste with mustard oil and salt.
  • Make a big patty (about half inch thick) with the mix and place it on a banana leaf. Cover with another banana leaf and place it on a frying pan to cook over a medium flame.
  • Make sure both sides are cooked well.
  • Cut the cake into diamonds and serve hot with rice.
