Ingredients

  • For Kofta:
  • 6 - colossi, pressure cooked| 1 small bowl - bread crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1 tsp -cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp - amchur powder
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Curry
  • 1 cup - Milk
  • 2 - Bay Leaves
  • 2 - dry Red Chilli
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 2 - cardamom, powdered
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1 tsp - cumin powder
  • 2 tsp - Ghee
  • 2 - Tomato big sized cut into small pieces
  • Coriander leaves
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • How to Make Colocasia Kofta:

    1. For kofta:
    2. Mash the boiled colossi.
    3. Mix all the ingredients
    4. Now make small round or flat sized koftas and roll it in the bread crumbs.
    5. Fry it in oil.
    6. When done, keep it on the paper napkins to remove excess oil.
    7. For curry:
    8. Heat oil in pan.
    9. First fry cumin seeds, bay leaves, dry red chilli and cardamom.
    10. Put turmeric, cumin powder, coriander powder and then milk.
    11. After few mins, put the tomatoes to the masala.
    12. Simmer the flame and cook for few mins and then put ghee. Place the koftas in the bowls and pour the curry on it just before serving
