Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - colocasia
  • 2 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1 tsp - all spice powder/garam masala powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 3 tbsp - Tamarind juice or Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp - cumin powder
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Colocasia Side Dish:

    1. Clean and cut colossi into bite size pieces
    2. Marinate the pieces with all the ingredients (except oil) and keep it aside for about 1 hour.
    3. Heat oil in a pan and add the marinated colossi
    4. Add 1 cup of water and cook covered over low heat till cooked.
    5. Serve as a side dish.
