Ingredients

  • 500 g - fish
  • 200 g - fresh coriander leaves
  • 5 - green chillies
  • 25 g - ginger
  • 4 - tomatoes
  • 4 cloves - garlic
  • 2 - onions, chopped fine
  • 4 pieces - cinnamon, slightly crushed
  • 4 - cloves, slightly crushed
  • 5 tsp - oil
  • 1 pinch - turmeric powder
  • Salt

How to Make Coriander Fish

  • Fry the fish, sprinkled with salt and turmeric powder, for a while.
  • Grind coriander, garlic, ginger, tomato and chillies into a paste.
  • In a kadai, heat 4-5 tsp oil, add onion, cinnamon and cloves.
  • Add ground paste and fry well.
  • Add 1.5 cups of water and salt to taste. Stir for 2 mins
  • Now add the fish and cook covered for another 5 mins serve hot
