Ingredients

  • 1.5 tsp - Coriander seeds
  • 1.5 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 2 tbsp - grated Coconut
  • 3 - dry Red Chillies
  • 3 strands - coriander
  • 1/4 tsp - Tamarind paste
  • 1/2 tsp - Jaggery
  • 1 tsp - ghee| | 1/2 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • A pinch - asafetida
  • 4 - Curry leaves
  • Salt as per taste
  • How to Make Coriander Jeera Rasam:

    1. Grind together coconut, coriander seeds, cumin, coriander leaves and red chillies with little water.
    2. Dilute the masala and boil. Add tamarind paste, jaggery and boil for another 4-5 mins.
    3. Heat ghee, temper mustard seeds, hing and curry leaves.
    4. Serve.
