Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 bunches - coriander
  • 1 tsp - Poppy Seeds
  • 1 tsp - sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp - minced Onion
  • 1 tsp - ginger, finely grated
  • 2 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp - chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • Lemon juice and salt to taste
  • Cooking oil
  • Wheat flour
  • How to Make Coriander Parathas:

    1. Chop the coriander leaves very finely.
    2. Lightly roast the sesame seeds and poppy seeds.
    3. Mix these with the onion, ginger, garam masala, chilli powder, turmeric powder, lemon juice, and salt.
    4. Knead a soft dough with the wheat flour.
    5. Prepare stuffed parathas the usual way, using the coriander mixture as filling.
    6. Roast on a greased tava adding a little oil.
    7. Serve hot with yogurt or pickle.
